Worship Music

In my second blog post I mentioned that I would be posting an entry about a future blog on worship music, and now the time has come. There is a wide range of worship music out there ranging from your traditional hymns sung in Anglican church services, to more modern songs. It is the modern stuff I love the most, so here I am offering ten such songs.

1. How deep the father's love.
This is one I have sung in services a few times and is one which really speaks to me because it talks of the Crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus

2. Lord I'm Grateful (Grace)
Whilst I'm yet to sing this one, it is one of my favourites and one I have heard a few times.
3. You are more
This is one I have only recently discovered and fell in love it from the first time I heard it, because in my view it is God speaking to me, telling me I am not worthless (as I sometimes feel I am) and instead am a priceless part of his creation.
4. Hymn
I heard this song for the first time a few years ago whilst on holiday in Germany, and it has remained one of my favourite songs even when I wasn't a christian.
5. One thing remains

The lyrics are pretty self explanatory, as it's about how God loves us all no matter what we do or where we go in our lives. Yeah I'm a romantic
6. City on Our Knees
This is another one I knew about long before I was christian. I discovered this one in high school when a youth oriented church came to promote a concert they do every year in my school and do workshops with students.

7. Revelation Song
I first heard this in my first few weeks of being a christian.

8. God's great dance floor

This one is a very face paced, dance type one :D

9. By your side
I discovered this one only the other day, and truly felt like God himself was speaking to me. I gets to me big time…

10. 10,000 reasons
Need I say anymore?
